Tomato Braised Green Beans

Ingredients

3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

2 pounds green beans, ends removed

3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, plus more to taste

1 1/4 cups low-sodium chicken broth

1/2 cup Francesco Rinaldi Marinara Pasta Sauce

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Crumbled feta cheese, for garnish

Directions

  1. Heat oil in large straight-sided skillet over medium heat. Add green beans, garlic, salt and pepper and cook until fragrant, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Stir in broth, marinara sauce, oregano and cinnamon. Bring to a summer over medium-low heat. Cook, covered, until flavors develop and sauce reduces, about 15 minutes. Top with feta and serve.
